Quantity Surveyor - Civils
📍 Manchester | 💰 [Salary] Up to 55k | 🏗 Civil Engineering / Infrastructure
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with civils experience to join our growing team, working across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
This is a key commercial role, supporting project delivery from pre-construction through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cost control, CVRs, valuations, and final accounts
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
- Analyse drawings and specifications for civils works
- Manage subcontract procurement, negotiation, and appointments
- Administer contracts and support commercial reporting
- Work closely with site and project teams to ensure delivery performance
Requirements
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civils / infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (preferred)
- Experience with groundworks, drainage, utilities, highways or infrastructure projects
- Strong commercial awareness and cost control skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
